Question about Whirlpool Dishwashers
Hi Experts! I just purchased and installed (last night) a GU2300XTVT1. I fired it up and ran it through a cycle empty, then ran it again with some not soo dirty dishes. The dishes still seemed dirty to me and the Electrasol power ball was still lingering in the bottom. I started it again, it began to fill for apox., 1 minute then stopped. Now the clean light is flashing. Is there a way to reset the lockout?
Take off the kick panel on your dishwasher, inside the panel there should be a plastic pocket with a sheet of paper in it called a "tech sheet". This is a basic diagnostic tool for techs. It should tell you what the flashing green light is indicating. Every model is a little different so it's hard to say exactly what it is. The tech sheet will walk you through how to get it out of this mode.
