This sounds like convergence output IC problem. convergence board would have to be removed - remove and replace 2 STK IC's and check the surrounding resistors. Shops usually charge between $200-$400

Make sure your contrast isn't set too high. Most ghosting is caused by either contrast, brightness or tint issues. Try adjusting these settings. Also check if there is a Dynamic contrast setting for your TV as well as this can cause ghosting also.

Ghosts

How old is ur tv...? Cos the wear & tear is the cause for this ghost appearance. The repair for this is only temporarily. It can not be eliminated completely.

Generally the blue ad yellow colour can be removed by a tool which is available with a tv technician. It is not very expensive to do this. Hoping to hear from you.

Thankyou

Misaligned grey scale adjustment. Do a white balance adjustment, after entering its service mode. Contact the authorized service center of any experienced service technician. http://elektrotricks.blogspot.com/

Samsung tv model # HCP4363WX Ghosting

The convergence board that you replaced will not correct the issue that your describing as your model has the convergence amp circuits located on the Deflection board. You would need the deflection board which is available at the following link. It also has a picture of the board which is in your model its the large board on the right with the Flyback and both Convergence ICs on it.

Ghost and red

Sounds like the TV needs major convergence alignment and possibly a a full color scale adjustment. Projection TV's have the most alignment issues. Since I don't know manufacturer I can only give you general ideas. Most projection TV's have either auto or manual alignments which can be accesed through the menu. However the adjustments may be tricky to get to. Once convergence is done if video is still red you will need to get in the TV and set up biasing levels on each tube. Hopefully the tubes are just slightly degraded and can be readjusted for a nice quality image.
I suggest finding a local guy and asking him to possibly do a quick a;ignment for a fixed price.
Good luck

Red ghosting

There is a bulletin that addresses this problem, but you must follow it EXACTLY as it invoolves changing settings in the service menu and you could easily make your TV unusable if you change the wrong thing. if you want the bulletin i could send it, but I would recommend you have a Sony qualified tech do the adjustment

Misaligned Convergence

Is anenvolved job to repair a convergence problem, the way to go about it is to locate the convergence amplifier IC's,one for each color(red green, blue)check for loose conections at the ic's legs, after resoldering all the legs see if an improvement is present if it gets better you will be able to adjust from the custumer controls, but if no improvement the Ic's will have to be replaced. Some units have a separete board were you can adjust convergence after replacing the Ic's and other units you have to access the service menu to be able to do the adjustments but just doing this adjustments can be very challeging even for a train technician,I would suggest you seek assistance from a servicer and get an estimate.
