I suggest taking the back cover off, removing the battery and reinstalling it again. Make sure the battery is installed correctly and is the exact type. Its very easy to put them upside down, Sometimes it may take a couple tries.

It happens very often that the ground is not connecting on the backside of the watch. Make sure too that the back cover is on the right way meaning in the right direction as before to push the battery into the positive terminal and to ensure that the backside is grounding it. Is the spring still inside under the battery?

Silly question but did you make sure the crown is pushed in all the way. If all else fails, try a different battery or give it a slight tap.

What is the battery number for the Torgoen T8 (it takes 3 separate batteries

Hi all, :)
the T8 has the following movement and uses these batteries

Ronda 585 Using Renata battery 362
Ronda 751 x 2 pcs Using Renata battery 379

so it uses three (3) batteries in total :)

I just replaced the battery on a fossil watch and it won't work. How to you reset it? or what else needs to be done? Please help me. thanks.

mcdevito75 here, Your Fossil watch should work with the battery change, of course it will need to be re-set. You"ll have to double check the battery install, make sure the battery contacts are clean, use a piece of paper towel and carefully clean the battery contacts. Hopefully your new battery is not dead. Another thing to check for, is that the buttons contacts are lined up with the quartz movement. While you double check your battery install, carefully press 1 button at a time, and make sure each button is making contact with the quartz mechanism, many times during a battery change to quartz movement may move just slightly but enough to keep the buttons from contacting the movement, this will keep the watch from working. Hopefully 1 or all of these is the answer for your Fossil watch.

What battery does a Oakley 2.0 Crush watch take

You need to buy silver oxide battery SR920SW made by Maxell, Sony, Panasonic, Toshiba and National, or, 371 made by Renata, UCAR, Eveready, Rayovac and Energizer, or, V371 by Varta, or, D371 by Duracell, or 605 by Bulova, or, 280-31 by Citizen, or, SB-AN by Seiko. Each named battery will fit your watch perfectly. Rate me, plz.

Replaced the renata #371 battery with a duracell d371. The watch still doesnt work. It working fine when i put it up on the shelf a week ago then just stopped. Is it the battery type?

Could be a duff battery - this does happen - even to duracell.

Try another battery - try and get a renata as was originally in the watch. Luminox usually use the Ronda swiss movement - which are pretty bulletproof movements. (i've got 2 Luminox - nice watches, prefer these of trasers)

If you don't get any joy with another new battery - send to the recommended sevice / repairer on Luminox website - prices are not that bad and you can specifiy exactly what you want done so it should not cost the earth - all prices are there to see.

Need replacement battery for the above

I had the same problem. My jeweler came up with a solution. He "dibbled" the rear of the case just enough that the next smaller Renata battery would fit. You can't tell that he did anything but it worked. Hope this helps.
