My solo 3100 mic is not working, nobody can hear me at all, but I can hear them. Tested many times, not bad connection etc. Barely used, excellent condition. Thanks

I have this sale problem. I am using a rocketfish micro dongle to connect my LG tone to my PC and I can hear fine. However, when I set the bluetooth mic to default, I only hear these random blips and pings and it shows nothing received in the audio bar.
Hi
if no body hear you that means you have a problem with the mic. Lot of the the time dirt filled up in the small hole (on bottom part of phone) where the mic placed, try cleaning that hole with the pin make sure you do it gently don't damage the mic. if still same problem then you need a new mic.
Check that the talkback cable is plugged in firmly both sides. Try a different XBOX controller, just in case the jack on the controller is worn and making bad contact. Try the X1 mic on a PC or laptop to make sure it's working. If none of these are the cause of your problem, you need a replacement talkback cable. Here's the link:
Firstly, make sure the microphone you use is uni-directional. This means it will work in the same way that a television antenna does, in that it will pick up sound from the direction it points in, but sounds from other directions will be attenuated. These mics are often used by broadcasters and those in noisy situations, football matches etc.
Secondly, make sure your microphone is fitted with a good foam wind cover. If it already has one, fit a thicker one. This is the single most important thing you can do to cut down on wind noise. You can always get yourself some foam and wrap it around the microphone, right over the top, and tie it with a piece of string.
It sounds a bit wacky, but even pro broadcasters do this from time to time.
Finally, consider using an extension mic cable and positioning it closer to the signal source. Be careful though. If the neighbours are that bad, make sure you are not on your own.

Hello,
You have a bad mic. The LG shine has that issue sometimes. It may have been that you got some liquid or moisture on it,. I had a customer at our store with the same thing last week. The mic on this model is connected to a flex on the keypad flex. To change it, it would involve either replacing the whole keypad which has the mic already attached, or detaching the bad mic and soddering on a new one. I would suggest you go to your local LG service center have them install it for you. If you`d like we can help u. Walk you through it
