Question about Whirlpool LER4634J Electric Dryer
Dryer is making clicking noise as if its trying to count down but won't dry or turn on the inside.
The clicking noise is probably the timer switch working ok...no problem there
Sounds like you could have a broken belt, that will keep your drum from turning.
If you have a front load machine, remove the front, that will expose the drum. You should see the belt on the drum, if it is not there then it is broken.
You would then remove the drum and replace the belt, while your at it you should go ahead and lube the drum rollers at the shaft with a good grade of machine oil...Like 3 in One oil...it will extend the life of the rollers and help to keep them from making noises later.
I hope this helps
