ON the base of the laptop there is one screw hole that is marked by a circle with a "wedge" cut out of it. That is the hold down screw for the drive. When you take this screw out, then open a paperclip and push an end into the small hole on the door of the drive, it will be close to the eject button. This will release the door, when it pops out, grab it and open the drive, continue to pull on the slide and the body of the drive will follow.
