Its in dfu mode hold both buttons for 7 seconds then take your finger off the top button while still pressing the big button on the front for another 12 sec get the connect to itunes logo. away you go.
if all else fails disoder the battery and plug psu into it till you get the apple logo going on/off reconnect the battery this will sort it .

My ipod is disabled and wont connect to itunes i try to put my password in but wont let me and i tried to restore it but it wont turn off

One way that should work is to put your ipod into dfu mode. to do this you must:
  1. Hold down the sleep and power button for ten seconds till the screen goes black.
  2. when the screen goes back release the power button and continue to hold the home button until the screen shows connect to itunes.
  3. Plug your ipod in your computer start Itunes and click restore.

*NOTE* by doing this you will lose everything that is currently stored on your ipod.

My ipod wont charge what do i do?

Try resetting the unit using this method:

RESTORING IPOD TOUCH:
Try plugging it into your computer. Press and hold both the sleep and home buttons
at the same time until the screen goes black (can take longer than 10 seconds) then
let go of the sleep button (the button on the top of the unit) while keeping the
home button held in (the button on the front of the iPod). Keep the home button
held in until your computer recognizes new hardware. You should hear some sort of
sound coming from your computer speakers. That and the "installing new hardware"
notice should come up in your taskbar (this is where you computer shows the clock).
Let go of the home button once this happens. Open up iTunes and then restore it.
Keep in mind, that by restoring it, you will lose all data!!!!!

Hello, I seem to be having a problem with my Ipod touch. I charged it on my laptop tonight and when I went to unplug it my Ipod had frozen. I tried reseting it and restoring it's settings but that wouldn't...

We call this a bricked unit there are programs to unbrick these units but they are $$$$ expensive I would recommend you take it to a apple store to have you ipod unbricked going to cost $35 bucks what happend was when you disconnected it on your laptop you failed to press the safe eject icon when it was in charge mode that sent the wroung signal back to the unit thinking it was sycing now its bricked.. I do wish you good luck but honestly there is no fix unless you bought a expsive program or brought it to apple. Pleas edo leave postive feedback and ratings for your free answer today/

Why wont my ipod touch turn on i turned it off and it wont come o

Hold the power button and home button for 10 seconds to ensure the device is off. Let go.

Hold the home button down, plug in the ipod to the computer, after the screen changes to the itunes plug screen, let go of the home button.

The ipod will now be in recovery mode, and you can attempt to perform a restore within itunes.

If the restore fails, and the ipod screen stays black, this means the battery is dead and must be replaced.

Ipod touch speakers wont work

You may need to reset
To reset the iPhone or iPod Touch, press and hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button simultaneously at the same time for at least ten seconds, then the LCD display will clear and the Apple logo appears on the black background. When Apple logo appears, reset is done.

if that happened, then yes. then you could just buy a new one. but trust me, that's probably a defective ipod.
