we have a ge side by side refrigerator...while moving it we broke something off the back...it was like a little tube or coil...it was really short..maybe 4 inches...i think it led to the icemaker...i dont know what it's called, so i dont know what to buy to replace it..anyone have any idea? i don't have the thing that broke off..i was just told aout it..that's why i can't just bring it in...
Possibly the water inlet valve? Look at the water line on the back that goes up the back to the ice maker. The bottom end should be connected to the water inlet valve. This is also where the water supply from the house connects.
