Question about Televison & Video
The IR sensor is located at the inner side of the front panel.when you face the remote towards the tv and press any button from the remote the IR sensor in the tv gets command to get operated.but if the IR sensor is not working properly then the tv will not except any command given by the remote.so its necessary to get the ir sensor checked first, because many times there is dust or moisture that gets collected on the IR sensor so cleaning the IR sensor helps to solve the problem.but if the IR sensor is loose then it needs to be re-soldered on the main board where its connection is.but if the IR SENSOR is faulty then it needs replacement.for checking the IR sensor the front panel side of the tv needs to be opened and to open the front panel some of the other tv parts /sides needs to be disassembled. -------------------- if not familiar with this you can get it done by a local tv repair technician. ------------------ thanks.this will help.please do rate the solution.thank you for using fixya.keep updated.

Either those remotes just aren't the ones that work, or the infared remote sensor is faulty. You can buy the origional remote for your tv from
You can probably get infared sensor if that is what you need at shopjimmy.com
