My M-R0013 or M215 logitech mouse isnt working the light at the top witch useually is green is now red and the mouse isnt working i tryed new batteries but it didnt work still i think it might be USB

Try out MS Fixit. Use IE (Chrome did not filter correctly). SelectWindows. Use USB as the filter.
There should be 2 executables (test these) and maybe some other solution. This a fairly new and dynamic site, so a little feed back would be great.

I have the Targus amb04us wireless mouse. The mouse lights up when I turn it on, but my computer isnt showing a connection. Plus, the connector in the USB port isn't lighting up.

click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll down universal serial bus controllers you could see a yellow question / exclamation mark? ! or a red X

you will need to update/reinstall drivers

right click to reinstall drivers

if you can see your usb drive but its not working

ports(com&lpt)right click update driver if this fails to fix the problem

check the USB leads that attach to the motherboard usually red white green black make sure they are securely seated and have no dust build up on them dust will cause static and a lot of unforeseen problems for a computer and its parts

make sure the battery is good (has full charge)also you might test the usb device for the mouse is inserted correctly into the usb port (if applicable)

if you need more help with this post a reply

hope this helps you

Compaq cq50 touchpad isnt working, and the keyboard isnt working either when using the usb mouse, and it is all running very slowly.

You have a device conflict. Laptops do not like USB mice.
To fix this you will need the hands-on help of an expert, or
assistance from Compaq (good luck) or the mouse maker.

My plug in mouse for my hp laptop isnt working the red light wont come on and its plugged in

First of all boot to the Bios, think its F2 or Del key on that model..
In the advanced screen, checdk to see that USB controllers are enabled for the mouse.
If they are, try plugging another usb peripheral (usb drive or dongle) into the ports, if they ARE recognised, then issue is with the mouse. If they do not register, then issue is with the USB ports. Possibly a damaged USB controller

I bought a new wired mouse. although the mouse is connected to the computer (i can see that the bulb inside is lighted up) but it wont move on the screen. i then tried reconnecting my old mouse but that...

if it is a usb mouse then try to reinstall the usb motherboard drivers again, it might had corrupted, or it can be a hardware conflict, try to remove the old driver and reinstall for the new mouse,, should work

How to connect wireless mouse light on mouse flashes fast but holding both connect buttons isnt working

You need to have a Wireless USB adapter that came with the mouse. Plug it in to any one of the USB ports then it should work.

My usb ports wont recognize my plug ins

One of the USB devices might be overloading the ports. If you can use a non-wireless mouse and keyboard first and then plug the hard drive in. Try plugging the drive into another computer. If you don't have one, maybe check with a friend and make sure the drive does not have any problems. While you are at the other computer, try the wireless mouse and keyboard and see if it works ok on it
