Can you get into the device manager to check for troubles? These are regular Microsoft type wire devices?
Unplug and replug them in ... if you see trouble in the device manager, delete the entries if you can and let Windows reinstall them. You may have to use Safe Mode.
And, there is a good possibility none of this will work. If tht is the case, let me know and we will try something else.
