Sorry, but you can't. The built-in flash is for still photographs only. If you want a video light I'm afraid you'll have to use some other light source.

I AHVE A LENS ERRO AND NEED TO RESTART CAMERA. HOW DO I DO IT PLEASE. I HAVE A CANNON POWERSHOT A460 DIGITAL CAMERA

Lens errors are fairly common. Usually it's sand or grit interfering with the lens extension mechanism. Or the camera's been dropped with the lens extended. Or the camera has been powered on, but the lens had been blocked preventing its extension. Or the battery ran down with the lens extended ...

Here's some things that you can do to try to correct it. They only seem to work for less than 50% of the lens errors, but if the camera is out of warranty, they're worth a try:

Canon A460 problem

I have a Canon A460 and the only red light I know of is the auto-focus light. If it's a low battery you'll see the indicator on the screen, not a light.

Cannon-ZR90 -- Need to transfer recorded motion pictures on CD/DVD

I use Pinnacle Studio Suite. It works really good with Canon. Once the DV cable is plugged in and you turn it on Windows will pop up the option right away to work with Studio.
