This could be a number of issues:

Your wells water level may have dropped off to a pont where the pump is no longer in the ground water

If in fact power is getting to the pump the motor may have failed

The pump may have broken off of its drop-pipe, this I see oftenwith pumps with plastic heads.

The control box (if one) may have a failed component.

You may have a sever leak within the well as water is just recirculating with in the well.

A check valve may be stuck

I'd call a water professional on this one, until then shut the ubit down so possible dry running of the pump and mortro does not occur.
I hope this may have assisted you,
Tom

How do I stop pump from running? Cistern connected pump does not seem to be pressurizing. Pump not cutting off, and getting hot.

Pump probably needs to be serviced. It probably pressurizes a tank and when that tank reaches a pressure the pump is turned off. But just guessing.

I have a new spa with a Pentair Mastertemp 125. We have had issues with the heater running intermittently and making a very loud rattling noise. I've been through a long list of troubleshooting...

Maybe that at lower pump speed the water is staying in the heat exchanger too long, and the rattle you hear is water starting to boil. The high limit sensors will sense the water temp being too high and shut down the heater. If it functions normally at high speed the issue is probably with the heater having problems with slow flow through the exchanger. You may want to consider switching to an electric heater where this would not be an issue. Just a guess without being there.

The water comes out in the detergent/softerner liquid dispenser; instead in the main washer.

Water Problems
Sometimes water will not enter the machine in order to properly wash clothing. In that case, the water may be turned off or the water fill valve, water temperature switch or timer may not be functioning correctly. A defective water valve or timer can also cause the machine to not enter the spray rinse cycle. Another issue that arises is when the water will not drain out of the machine. The drain may simply be clogged, or the drain hose or pump may be malfunctioning. Water will splash on the floor if the pump or water valve is not working, or if the machine is operating on a low level of water with a high level of agitation, which means the force that promotes all the functions of the machine.
Cycle Problems
Malfunctions of the various cycles are common as well. If no agitation occurs, the agitator spine may be stripped, or the motor or internal transmission system could be broken. If the machine will neither agitate nor spin, the belt or coupling is most likely the problem. There are a number of issues associated with either no spin or a slow spin including an open lid, defective lid switch, spin tube, wigwag, timer or wigwag wire or a drive belt that is not properly adjusted. When the motor will not run at all, first check the power cord to make sure that it is plugged in. If that does not solve the problem, issues are found in the timer, lid switch, motor or water level switch.
Other Issues
Sometimes washing machines will excessively vibrate or "walk," meaning that they begin to inch forward while the motor is running. Check inside the machine to see if there is an unbalanced load. Heavier items, such as sneakers, cause vibration as well. The load can be fixed and any unnecessary items removed. If the problem persists, other possible issues include an improperly leveled machine, a worn-out snubber, broken suspension springs or shipping pins that have not been removed. Another problem that arises with washing machines is oil leakage caused by transmission failure, which is one of the more costly issues to fix.

Already took off pump & cleared out $12 in change but still will not pump all water out or spin out. can hear pump running but think the damage has already been done. would it be pump or pressure...

If the washing machine won't fill up, make sure that the water supply valves are turned on. Next, make sure there are no kinks in the supply hoses that run from the supply valves to the washing machine. If nothing is obstructing the hoses, you may have another controls issue.

Several of the washing machine controls are also responsible for the washing machine not draining, continuing to fill or filling too slowly. If the washer doesn't want to drain or stop filling, the issue could be the pressure switch. When water enters the machine, water also fills a tube in the pressure switch. When the air pressure reaches a certain point, it triggers a switch that will stop the machine from filling. Locate this pressure switch on your machine and look for damage. If you have a multimeter, use it to find any electrical issues. If there is no reading, the pressure switch needs to be replaced.

My water is cooling in long copper runs and flow issues w/tkless

OK Lag the Pipes, you can get insulation that comes in two halves that goes around the pipes and uses "Ties" to hold the sides together. Or you could lag it with Hessian wrap, Anything you can wrap around and "Lag" the pipes with will be better than nothing.

Qca Spa pumps and blower will not come on, water down to 35º f

Ken,

You need to contact a hot tub technician/engineer as you clearly have issues.

'ICE' means that the water temperature is too low and therefore the pumps will be turned on to prevent freezing within the plumbing. Depending upon the spec and settings, the heater maybe disabled during 'ICE' condition.

'ECON' is Economy Mode. If you have a mode button, keep pressing it until you see 'Stan' on the display. This will put the system back into the standard mode.

'FLO' means that there's insufficient flow of water through the heater, or non at all. 1) Check the water level - top up if low. 2) Ensure that all jets are open and flow water - if they don't you may have a pump issue. 3) Remove the filter(s) and see whether or not this clears the fault, if so clean or replace the filters.

'COOL' is displaying because the set temperature is much higher than the current water temperature.

As I mentioned at the start, you really should get someone to take a look at your hot tub. You may have a few issues that need resolving.

Regards,
Ian.

I have a Campbell and Hausfeld submersible pump, and the pump comes on every 8 minutes, pumps out for 5 minutes, then shuts off. Trying to find out if the float switch is going bad before buying a new pump.

Is the pump pumping out water when it comes on? If it is than it may be running as it is designed and you may want to look in to why you are getting so much water in the sump. Once the sump is filled to high enough level it will run the pump until the water level is at a low enough level. In other words the ON level switch is much higher than the OFF level switch.

My Roper washing machine is not spinning the water out. It is washing normal but when it comes time to spin it just stops. Please any info would be great. Thanks

Hello
Welcome to Fixya
My name is Huum,

Three possible reasons are:

Defective Lid Switch
Check lid switch for proper operation. Check the switch for continuity. If it is found to be open, replace the switch assembly.
Defective Motor
If the motor is not running, the pump will not work. Most washing machine use a reversible motor and it is possible for the machine to agitate and not spin or drain.
Defective Water Pump
If the motor is running and water is not pumping it could be a defective water pump. Ensure the tub to pump water hose is clear. If so, replace the pump.

Pump Runs On After Water Is All Drained Out?

If the cycle does not stop draining that is usually because of a faulty water level switch that controls the water level in your appliance.
The faulty sensor cause the machine to think that there is still water inside, even when water has drained completely.
Check if the floating sensor is stuck or faulty.
Some machine may use a membrane switch instead of a floater.
