First try to adjust the convergence through the menu if it won't adjust or help not read below.
This sounds like a convergence output IC problem. Replacing two IC's and resistors will fix the problem. In order to replace the IC's the Entire internal chassis must be removed - the IC's (mounted on aluminum heat sinks) must be unsoldered removed and replaced - 1Watt resistors in the area need to be checked/replaced reassembled and convergence realigned.
