pull the dishwasher out and push down on the top of the dishwasher were the door latch is ,its not making conntact with the microswitch.but you could also have a broken handle.these are both common faults on this model.hope this helps.

You need a Air gap kit designed by Fisher and Paykel to address this problem. It is pricey but it is worthy. I used this and very happy with it since no back flow problem from one while other running. Here is a link to order it.http://www.fisherpaykelparts.net/product/WT50/WT50-Dual-Air-Gap-Kit/

you have an overflow leak problem....shut off circuit breaker or pull fuse....let it dry out for up to 4 days; hopefully overnight; peak under dryer and feel metal drip pan and if wet you might be able to dry with a hair dryer...WHY? the lid did not seal when you put cycle on...the lid lowers and you had something..typically too bid glasses on second shelf that was above the seal lip of the tub...stack correctly after this and no worries...
