Starts to charge then stops

then i think ur charger if messed up cut open the charger head(the part that goes into the computer( the plastic part of course ) and look for 2 wires 1 is ground and the other is hot look to see if there touching or if 1 or both of them is off the meltal part use soutering iron and some souter to put it back on

ps same problem with my gatway labtob and this fixed it hope i helped
