The connector which connect the LCD to the motherboard is loose. Just open up the laptop and fix that connector.
Before doing this try reinstalling the graphic driver after uninstalling the previous version.

Laptop LCD/Display Problem, Green and Pink Tints???

Their are a couple things that could be causing this, My first thought is that the screen its self is damage. A LCD screen is composed of millions of tiny pixels so when some fails others will still work.
That other thought is that the GPU or video device on the laptop could be failing and creating video problems. Have you tried closing the laptop and opening it agian, this would help rule out a bad cable connection.

WHITE is a mixture of the three "primary" colours.
If one of the colours is not working, then WHITE turns PINK.

So, either your LCD display is malfunctioning,
or the "data" cable between the LCD and the motherboard is malfunctioning (not transmitting all 3 signals),
or the video-card embedded into the motherboard is malfunctioning (not sending all 3 signals).

This is nothing that you can fix by yourself; take your computer to a qualified technician, for trouble-shooting and repair.

My ECS A530 laptop displays only green vertical lines. can someone please help?

Sounds like you have a bad LCD screen, hook up a computer monitor on the video output located on the back of your Laptop, if the monitor produces a nice clean picture, suspect the LCD screen on your Laptop.

Monitor turned pink

Video-cards generate "primary" colours (red, green, blue), and "mix" those colours to produce millions of "secondary" colours.

First, try replacing the "data' cable between the LCD and the video-card.

Second, if your LCD works correctly when connected to some other desktop or laptop computer, then the video-card in your computer is not working properly -- not sending one of the "primary" colours to the LCD. Replace the video-card.

Can my LCD monitor damage if I place multimedia speakers near it?

No this happens in the machines that with CRT, LCD is free from this thingy as LCDs don't use magnetics to steer the non-existant electron beam.

The only danger might be if they produce a large alternating field, as this could induce currents in nearby wiring, but this an't gona happen.

Toshiba Satellite L35 screen color turned to pink.

If you have a LCD-screen, not an old-style CRT-screen, it is the data-cable, and its connections, that are not transmitting one of the 3 "primary" colours, e.g., mix red & blue & green to get white,
but mix only two of those colours, and you could get pink,
because the mixing is an "additive" process.

If you mix NONE of the 3 primary colours, you should get BLACK.
If you see GREEN, you're seeing ONE of the primary colours.
