Question about Dell Computers & Internet

I have a dell-optiple250-desktop.there is no audio,or sound. there is supposed to be, according to where i got it, & the compt. says it is working, may be the sound device-driver is misplaced, or error. i am not sure what to do. i called microsoft,dell, others,& called& searched in vain. icant get help,or support,or solution.very frustrating! i am ready to give up. i can not get advise,or answers. only dead-end roads. my pc does make a little beep sound at times. but no audio-sound,from compt, cd-drive,or dvd. also says 2 regit. errors. i did have the volume icon,in task-bar,& could adjust volume settings. now can not.can you please help? i tried everything, that lead me nowhere. thanks,david c.

You probably need to reinstall the drivers for it. Visit your manufacturers website to download it.

Open up a browser and go to support.dell.com

Look for anything that says driver and download and click on it.

It will ask you to choose by several options, choose select by service tag. Your service tag can be found on a sticker on the computer tower.

After you get to the page with the list of available downloads, look for audio, then download and install the one under that.

No driver sound

I have no audio device no sound


go to bios setting, enable sound/audio if it is OK, go to device manager see whether any yellow question mark.
if you see multi media controller with yellow question mark, means sound device is detected and you need to install the driver in according to make it works.
