- When im already install a sound onboard driver after restart have a problem is onboard sound driver didn't work at the time when guess to reboot the system where haven't a sound system with after restart... there is a big problem on the motherboard of EPOX EP-P4MKI, pls analyze it what is the big problem on this matter.... pls urgent the solution.

- Everything installs fine, all drivers present, everything is just super, unfortunatly i can hear nothing, speaker are ok, tested on other machines.
Ghost problem maybe or the soundcard that came on the board is broken, stupid error, i don't kow? very strange problem.- Guest

Had the same problem with more than one Asus Mb's. Wasn't able to turn off the intergrated sound. So when I tried to connect a PCI sound card & installed its drivers, the software wouldn't finish. Windows kept seeing a missing driver from the intergrated sound chip. Asus RMAed the board and replaced it with another.
This may be your problem.
