Hi,

Go to Messaging > Click on Options and go to Settings and scroll to Other and click okay. scroll to "Phone memory (Memory in Use)" Change it to storage card.

This would do the trick.

Hey!!!! can retriwe my sms from nokia 6600...

You cannot explicitly see the messages stored inside your phone as like the other mp3/files. In message setting choose the message storage location as memory card and move all your message to a folder created in your memory card. Then you can use this memory card to get back all your messages later.

What software

Hi Allan, how are you ,hope you are phone.you can use a function in nokia 6600 which allows you to save your sms in device memory only..just go go messages >open >than select message setting >
than you will find a option which is 'memory in use' select device memory and you all sms will now be saved in device memory ,not in memory card ......and if you want to take memory card messages backup .insert it the card reader and copy the contents of memory card to computer ,and when formatting is done copy that data again to memory card...........so this is the best solution since i am also doing the same........
