I have a Kalimar 3CLB tripod I purchased used. I would like to mount my FujiFilm/Finepix S9000 to the tripod. Anyone know what adapter I need and where I may obtain it? Thanks.

Presumably you mean the quick release plate. Have a look on Ebay, or try the rummage box at your local friendly camera dealer.

What does a kalimar 500mm F8.0 preset lens with tripod mount, what cameras will it fit? thankyou, bear.

The lens in question is not brand specific. Instead you use T2 mount adaptors to fit whichever SLR camera you wish to use with it.

T2 mounts can be purchased widely online, just choose whichever one fits your camera mount.

Try www.TripodQuickRelease.com for that part. There is listed the widest selection of quick releases and support more brands than any other web site I've seen.
