Question about Hoshizaki Freezer Commercial Ice Machines - KM900MRH Commercial Ice Machine
3 beeps. hoshizaki replacing txv

It is exceeding the time to run a freeze cycle and shutting
off on a programmed saftey limit. There are several different
problems that can cause it to do this from a low charge , txv starving, or inefficient compressor or just a dirty water system. you may need a qualified
technician to check it out.

I have a Hoshizaki ice maker machine model # 350
It is pluged in and running it makes ice within 1.5 hour and drop the ice after which it does not make anymore ice .
It has this beeping sound in the control electronic circuit
can you tell me what is the cause for it not making ice consistently and what to look for.

Is this a hoshiziki or a Scotsman? If you pull the front cover off the machine, is the ice being made by a large flat grid, resembling a big waffle? If so there is a contact control that has a probe touching the flat metal panel, this has an adjustment screw on it. If you have a larger type of ice maker that has a couple of vertical rows with tanks on the top draining water down to the bottom, then remove the front panel and to the left bottom, there will be a tubular looking device that has a hose on the bottom and top. there will be 2 screws, loosen them and slide the round thing up or down to adjust the size of the cubes.
