I have the exact problem with my TV. I've replaced the bulb and ballast and that didn't make any difference. Did you get your problem corrected, and if so, what was the problem?

The picture will not come on the tv turns on then off, and then I get the three blinking lights. I have pulled out the lamp, how can you tell if it's burned out? Thanks Jeff

my HLN5065W will not turn on at all. I hear the chimes and the start of a motor, then the three lights on front blink, but no picture and no sound. The set seems to try to cycle itself and eventually stops with just the flashing three lights.

"ntree" mentions reading another post to clean a DMD board, but I'm unable to locate the post with specific instructions to try this myself.

    Please help!

This describes my problem precisely. Before this happened, when I turned it on I heard what sounded like a leaf blower, I could not turn the tv off, and eventually it shut itself off. Now when I turn it on I get sound without picture for a short time, it shuts itself off and on again, sound without picture, and shuts itself off.

Has a definitive solution to this been found? I replaced my bulb and ballast with no change. Exact same issues as Yshah.

Once again either the color wheel or lamp ballast needs replaced OR....the DMD board needs cleaned which you can do yourself for free if you are mechanically inclined(see my other posts for instructions on how to do this)
