You don't need pins, it just connects to the cardbus.

Check that all the cables are connect properly. Also, try another monitor, borrow a friends or something, and see if that works or not. If it works on your friends, update the firmware and then try your monitor again.

The onboard video-adapter probably is in the range of 2MB to 8MB.
Any PCI video-adapter card that you add should be in the range of 32MB to 128MB,
and your power-supply will be able to handle its power-requirements.

Hi,

The ATI Rage XL 8MB PCI video card is a very old and low power video card.

PCI graphics cards are not as fast as AGP graphics cards so if your motherboard has an AGP slot (it's the slot closest to the CPU and is usually coloured brown) then that would give you better performance.

These days AGP has been superceded by PCI-Express but since your motherboard does not have a PCI-Express slot then the best graphics card for it would be something like this one:

Hope this helps, please rate my answer :)

I need to run dual display on my dimesion 2350 dell desk top. can you advise please what dell compatible graphics card i should look for please .

Your Dell 2350 has ordinary PCI slots, which can be used to install ANY PCI (NOT PCI Express) video card. Here is an example of the card type that you can use: http://www.amazon.com/Rage-128VR-32MB-Video-Card/dp/B003S72HI0

*note - PCI video cards are the lowest performance type available *

One long beep tow short beep

One long beep and two short beeps mean faulty video adapter.

If you are using a card, like a PCI or AGP video adapter then remove and put back the card in slot.

If you have a motherboard, then the video chipset on motherboard had gone, buy an agp video adapter and insert it in the slot inside your computer to fix the problem.

below an example of PCI and AGP video card:

MSI G4MX4000-T64 64 MB Graphics Card

HP Intel DVI AGP digital display card

ATI Rage 128 Pro 32 MB PCI Graphics Card
