Sorry, but the ViviCam 8025 does not record sound in video mode. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

I know this wasn't the answer you wanted to see, but there it is.

Camera records video but not sound on the video on playback

What make and model camera? Some cameras don't record sound at all. Some cameras record sound but won't play it back, requiring you to download the video to a computer in order to hear the sound. Some cameras allow you to turn the sound on/off.

When playing a video after reconding it no sound is being played

Not all digital cameras record sound along with images. Since you neglected to specify the make and model of your camera, I can't tell whether your camera fits into this category. If you're certain your camera is supposed to record sound, please repost your query and be sure to specify the make and model of your camera.

I have no sound when I play back a video

I understand that you're not getting sound on the recorded videos when playing it in the Camera itself. Unfortunately, due to the bad design, the Camera does not have a built in speaker to generate sound when playing videos. It is required to connect the Camera to a TV or transfer the recorded videos to Computer to hear the audio on the videos.
Thanks for understanding. Please let me know if you require any clarifications.

I cant hear the videos i have recorded on my camera i have installed it all but cant hear any volume to play back the video on the camera and my laptop

The 7024 is designed primarily as a still camera, with some video features grafted on. As such it captures images not sounds. You can add a soundtrack using video editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on this camera.

Vivitar vivicam 8018 doesn't play sound with video's but it used to and now doesn't

If it did play sound, then there was something seriously wrong with the camera. The ViviCam 8018 does not record any sound in video mode. You can add a soundtrack using video-editing software on a computer, but you cannot record one on the camera.

No Sound When Recording

Video camera has built in microphone which is on at all time until you plug in different type of mic then camera is switched to new mic. Audio problem may be on audio head or circuit problem. You can test the system by playing pre-recorded tape to see if it play with the sound and go from there. If it play but does not record sound, you have audio recording problem. If it does not play, I would clean the video head and audio head area good. -James For further assistance, request help at www.camerarepairjapan.com
