Question about Lexmark E332n Laser Printer
I have a number of e332n printers. After 5 years of use, many are develpping a common problem, which is a paper jam on uptake.
It APPEARS, although I can't say for certain, that this occurs before the first set of rollers.
Is this a known problem? Is there a known solution?
If you remove the drawer and set your printer on its back you will see the auto compensator on the roof of the drawer cavity there are two little rubbers tires that are installed on this unit these have been known to stretch to the point of free wheeling on thier hub. ytou can put a couple of drops of super glue under the back side of these to fasten them down. also if you take an aresol contact cleaner spray it on a rag and clean the surfaces of the wheels over time they get residue buildup on them from the paper that makes them slick and they dont grab the paper very good. clean or replace these with new ones and it will fix your problem
