Question about Jwin JD-VD130 DVD Player

1 Answer

DVD Tray will not open

1. Powered up DVD player.
2. I hit "eject". (tried this manually and with the remote, 2 separate times)
3. Screen says "open" but tray does not pop out.
4, If I hit "eject" again (manually or with the remote) it spins searching for a disk (I know for certain there is no disk in the player) then eventually the screen says "no disk in player".
I do hear the motor looking for the disk.
I do not hear the tray motor at all attempting to open (doesn't seem like a jam)
Any ideas?

I Can Not Find a YAMADA DVD-7600XTV Region Unlocker

I don't know if this will work but I can atleast try to help

1) Open the disc tray.
2) While the tray is open, enter the following code with the remote's numeric pad: 2812
3) To change the region code, press the "Enter" button repeatedly. "Region 9" means all regions will be enabled.
4) Close the tray to save the desired setting.

Other Zoran Vaddis 776 based players have other options on this screen (such as Macrovision Enable/Disable) but this player only offers the region code setting (note the unused available space for other menu options).

If you press "Display" on the remote, the firmware version will be displayed.

1. Press "Eject"
2. Press "Setup"
3. Press 3x on the right "Präferenzen-Setup"
4. Press 7x Down "Land"
5. Press 1, 3, 7, 9
6. And 0 for code free
7. Press "Play"

Dvd will not eject manually or with remote tried unplugging and restarting it didn't help

It probably wasn't the best solution but it worked. I tried to jimmy open and pull out the dvd tray. When that didn't work I tried pulling the dvd out with needle nose pliers, but it did not budge. Finally I hit the eject button one last time and it worked. I hit the eject button a couple of more times and it did work. I did ruin the dvd, and haven't had a chance to play another dvd to see if it is working properly.

Technical support needed can't get player to eject disc

I had the same problem today.  I got a screwdriver and opened the case from the back.  It was simple, just 3 black screws.  Then I looked in the unit and saw that there were 2 dvds loaded in the unit. Apparently, my daughter didn't realize a dvd was already in the loading tray when she loaded another dvd.  I gently removed the 2 disks by prying the black plastic holder open and sliding the disks out.  Then I put the cover back on and put the screws back in.  Works fine now.  I hope this helps you.  I don't think the unit has a manual eject button, but it sure was easy opening the case and looking in the unit myself.  Good luck.

Region code for Samsung DVD-V6700

1. Make sure there is no DVD in the drive. The player must be empty. Turn on the player, (the Samsung logo appears)
2. Press the SUBTITLE button on your remote
3. With your remote enter the code: 76884
4. The current region is displayed on the top left corner of the screen. (e.g. 4)
5. Press 9 on your remote (Region free)
6. Again press the SUBTITLE button on your remote
7. Enjoy the Region free player

If your player is NOT Region 4 by default then you will need to Substitute the Numbers in Step 3 with the ones Below.

Region codes:
RC 1: 2, 9, 3, 3, 4
RC 2: 3, 8, 7, 6, 7 (or 5, 7, 5, 3, 8 )
RC 3: 5, 6, 7, 3, 2
RC 4: 7, 6, 8, 8, 4
RC 5: 5, 3, 8, 1, 4
RC 6: 2, 4, 4, 6, 2

For Example if your Player was Purchased in the USA ( Which is Region 1) then Step 3 would read :-

3. With your remote enter the code: 29334

Drive door will not open nor will it play

To open the drive door this is not a perfect fix, but it will allow to use it. After the unit is powered on: 1)Hit the "Open/Close" button 2)Wait a while (you will get the timing down) 3)Tap gently, yet briskly at the joint where the plastic faceplate connects with the metal top of the unitat the area situated around the middle of the dvd tray (area in the attached pic, that the red arrow points to)
