If the oven is completely dead it is a problem with the safety fuse. Remove the cover and follow the power cord into the back of the oven. There should be a fuse as it comes into the control board. If open replace it. It is a 10 to 15 amp fuse. Be careful when adjusting the door if you don't get it adjusted correctly if may cause leakage and that can be hazardous to your health.

Convection wont work

We could probably help you if you would repost this with the full model number from the tag in the cooking cavity or elsewhere on the oven.
Excellent job on detailing the symptoms though!
Just be sure to include them in your repost, too.

Stays on when you close the door

One or more door switches are defective, or it is out of alignment. If you know how to use a digital meter post back for instructions or have a serviceman test it.

The inside light turns on the turntable do not comes on appears to work but it wont heat

If the table does not turn it may not heat--A lot of these have a lever switch that is engaged when door closes--if it is not engaged no heat and no table movement---some actually break loose where they are mounted just inside the door frame (have to take apart unit to see them).

This happens as with door being closed often and or hard they can come loose. Its a safety switch to prevent use of the oven with the door open.

Does not heat food-master relay reset, all electric OK (fan runs, time & all other settings show OK, turntable rotates), door closed tightly, control lock

THere are three possibilities, open magnetron "heats food" cracked high voltage diode, or a shorted high voltage capacitor.

My microwave GE model # JVM1440WH04 spacemaker has no heat coming out of it. My husband heated microwave lasagna in it last, everything works except for the heat, any solutions?

Push the microwave door tightly closed. The computer will not start cooking until the door is closed for safety reasons. Some models of microwave will give a warning on the screen if the door is open.
2

Ensure you have programmed a heat setting, entered a cooking time and pressed the "Start" button on the microwave's keypad. Check that the microwave is not set to "Defrost" mode.
3

Unplug the microwave and wait for one minute. This measure will reset the microwave's internal computer if it has frozen or scrambled. Plug the microwave back in and try again.
4

Ensure the keypad lock mode is inactive. Most microwave ovens have a lockout feature that prevents children from starting the microwave while unsupervised. Lockout mode is usually deactivated by holding down the button that bears a padlock symbol

It wont heat anymore and the tray stopped turning a few months ago

Im sorry to hear you are having this trouble.

I believe you have a faulty door safety interlock switch. Please remove the cover and check the small micro switches with your ohm meter.

What frequently happens is this: because of opening the door during oven operation, the small points inside the switches arc and burn. Once they cannot make contact, they are not able to tell the oven the door is closed and when the door is not closed (forget what YOU think the door is doing) the oven will not turn on the magnatron. No magnatron, no heat.

Please let me know what happens

Oven keeps shutting off, says close door or says push start. When you push start again or restart only runs for few seconds and then shuts off again

1)Make sure there is a clearance all round the machine so that there is a good airflow. The sensor is picking up a lack of circulation or heat factor.

2) Chdeck the door switch, it may well not be closing correctly. when the door is closed and prior to hitting start,\; pull the door gently to see how much movement or play is in it. The door should be tight and have almost zero movement. Look at t both sides of the door lock to ensure no debris is preventing it from closing correctly, and the latch itselof is not broken!

WON'T HEAT OR CLOSE DOOR PROPERLY. ALL ELSE SEEMS OK

Well firstly if the door wont close properly you shouldnt use this device as if you are in the kitchen whilst it is in use your slowly cooking yourself . If the door is open microwaves can escape and that is Radiation Lethal if you get too much or too close ?.
The reason it is not heating is probably because most of the microwaves are escaping and not bouncing around your oven cooking your food .. but actually bouncing around your home cooking you . My advise to you is get it repaired by a qualified Domestic appliance engineer or bin it and get a new one ..
Regards Vortash
