Did you install a DVD player disc that came with the unit?
DVD's require a special mpg4 format decoder in order to understand the DVD disc. If you just connected the device it will read data DVD's Music DVD's and regular CD's. But, to play Movie DVD's you need to install the player program, which in turn installs the proper mpg4 codec. If it did not come with a player you can download mpg4 codecs from the internet in a package called "codec pack"
Hope that helps you to watch your Latest Releases! Cheers.
If you cant play mp3 files using your laptop, you can just download a 3rd party program like VLC. Its free and you can use it to play everything. Below is the download link where you can get the player program.
1. Video Driver for display adapters to be updated
2. Codec not available.. Try in a different media player..(E.g> KM player, VLC player, GOM player, KL mega codec)
3. Check the DVD in a diff computer/Laptop or toa DVD player connected to a TV set.
Sol for issue 1: You can get latest & official drivers from your computer manufaxcturer's site or you may opt for some third party driver agents available(Google it)
Sol for issue 2: All the players i mentioned are free apps.. So download and try it..
Sol for 3: If DVD plays fine in a diff machine, then issue with your computer.. if it fails to play in diff computer's then its purely a faulty DVD.
I dont think so
the DVD palyer is playing the videos that means the Player is connected properly
i would suggest you to check the color settings
either of the DVD player
(you might find how to do this in the manual, would be easy)
else check wheather the color setting on your tv are not set to SCEAM on the video mode.
hope this helps otherwose please do post back
and pls dont forget to rate the solution
Shouldn't matter what the OS (operating system) is. What you need to do is to make sure you convert the movie to proper format which would allow you to view on DVD player after burning. Usually you need a seperate software. Your DVD player should say what formats are compatible. Usually listed on unit or in manual. Avi is a great format but when you burned it to DVD your computer probably created a Data Disk. Which would make it unreadable by DVD player. Check to make sure you are able to convert to format that's readable by your player.Good Luck
When you burn dvd's to play on DVD players dont burn them as Data dvd they will not play. When you burn the DVD movie try to burn it using a DVD player compatible profile and this depends on the application software you are using to burn the DVD.
Do the DVD play on your computer from DVD or even from the file on hard drive.
If it does not play from the file on hard drive then the file is corrupted on downloading or you dont have a proper dvd palying software like PowerDVD
If it plays from the software but does not play from the DVD on your computer, then it means your DVD burner softaware corrupts file information on burning. Try using a different burning software.
If it plays DVD on your computer but not on the DVD player then your DVD burning profile you selecting is not compatible with your player its possibly burning Data DVD.
