Since you did not post your model number I cannot do anymore than tell you to searchyour model number at searspartsdirect.com. If the manual does not show up there try googling your model number and manual.

With the prices of microwave's & since you've had it since '97 that's almost 18 yrs. don't you think you can put it out of it's misery & get a new one? Check Craig's list, the penny saver or yard sales, you'd be surprised how inexpensive they are now. I use to sell Panasonic when they first came out, so many yrs. ago,. I've always had great results with Panasonic microwaves.

press the clear button. then try the number pads. if no response, then more than likely you got ripped off. samsung microwaves have very high keypad failure rates.

WIFE BOUGHT IT AT A YARD SALE HAVE NO IDEA HOW IT WORKS COULD USE A MANUAL IN A BAD WAY...THX KEN

Most major manufacturers supply manuals online so if you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, you may be pleasantly surprised as usually, if available, one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, Dealer Network for spare part supplies as required.

The information is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

Bought at a yard sale with no instructions

Hi,
For a competent expert to be able to answer your problem, you will need to givea specific make and model of your unit.
Also include as much as possible about what you have already tried to do toresolve the problem along with exactly what is not working or what the unit isnot doing that it is supposed to do.
This will help us experts to be able to give you the correct advise the firsttime, without having to guess so much as to what is actually happening.

Thank you!
