It just shows a pic of a guitar on there, and I search and search but still it wont find my mic, and yes my mic is turned on!

I am having the same issue. it shows a guitar on the diplay. when I hold down the set button to do a clear scan it displays "loc.out". It will now allow me to set the the channels manually either.
I managed to get the frequency set the same on both the receiver and mic. It shows a full RF signal, but no sound.

ApprenticeIt shows a guitar for higher input level or you can set it to a lower level(more sensitive) - it will then show a microphone
