-   I called the LG which (automated) and was forwarded to mcm electronics (automated) then finally I spoke to someone, only to find out that the model # was different on the dvd player and on the manual. So you would be taking a chance on buying the wrong one, and the cost: $32.00 (for the ac adapter to themodel # on the dvd player) plus additional shipping $10.00. Its way too much. I looked on their website & they only carried 9v so I wonder if thats what they were going to send out. I -   Guest

I lost my AC adapter and got one of those universal ones. Unfortunately my portable DVD player won't run strictly off the AC adapter, the adapter only charges the battery. It will not play if I have the battery off the back and have the cord directly plugged into the DVD player. Anyone else have this issue?
I own this dvd player and the AC adapter broke. Instead of paying for a new cord (if one is even available) we decided to order an AC to DC converter from Amazon so we can use the car cord for the dvd player in the house. We also own
an extra long life battery for the machine (from Battery Geek) and use that so we rarely
need the ac adapter. http://www.amazon.com/Power-Line-0900-56-12-Volt-Enhanced/dp/B000QFIS12/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=hi&qid=1256615928&sr=8-1

I bought a DVD player zenth DVP 615 in the US but lives in Europe. How do I get the player to become multizone (region free)?
We lost our adapter and no one can offer us any solution. When I called the 1800 # on the back of the DVD player they reffered me to a local parts store but the store said the model number I gave them was not good ( read directly off the unit??? ) so they would research it and call me back. Yeah riggght! I will check my electronics before I buy next time 9.5 volts is a PITA.
