Question about HP Deskjet 6940 InkJet Printer
This is a known issue, the printer is not designed to do large volume. A thicker paper helps a little, as a rougher paper. If you have to use the old plain glossy white typing paper then using "rubber renew" or some other similar product on the pickup rollers helps in the short term. Just keep in mind that inkjets like this are really designed to print a couple pages or to make hard copies of photographs, not for large jobs.
