Hi, my screen doesn't work on my compaq presario x1000 pc
Problem for Compaq Presario X1000 (DS829AV) PC Notebook
Logon issues!?!
When I last logged on I had a security password. I hadn't used this laptop in some time and had forgotten the password. I'm not sure why, but now when I turned on the laptop and the Windows XP Home starts.... a window that reads; ''winlogon.exe- Entry Not Found'' pops up. I clicked ''OK'', then a new window popped up; ''User Interface Failure''. The logon user interface failed to load. Contact your system administrator to replace the DLL or restore the original DLL. The asks to 'restart'.
HELP! What should I do at this point?

It seems you are having a virus problem. please try to correct xp by using your WindowsXP CD.
