Question about Microtek C783GM 17" Flat Panel LCD Monitor
Does it show any sign of life when you poweron the PC? With the PC powered on, remove the data cable of the monitor (yes the D plug) from the PC and insert it back. See if there are any signs of life. If there are any signs of life, reboot in safe mode by pressing F8 at bootup. If it boots in Safe Mode, then go to Control panel->Display->Settings->Advanced. Remove the Monitor and let windows detect the monitor. Same thing can also be done from Control Panel->System->Hardware->Device Manager-. Monitor. Remove the monitor and from Actions select Scan for New HW.
