Question about SanDisk Sansa Clip MP3 Player

SanDisk Sansa Clip is stuck on connected.

I ejected it but when I pulled it off, the Sansa Clip screen just says Connected, but it's obviously not doing anything.
BTW, I have an iMAC if that matters.

BSOD on my Sansa clip just like everyone else. Is there an official work around?

I finally got mine too, but had to erase everything in the process.  I finally got it turned off by holding down the power button.  Then I put it in the lock position.  Then I held the main select button down, while plugging it in.  Then I west to disk utilities as erased it.  The Sandisk tech support line helped talked me through it.  Then when it happened to my son's (the other on is my daughters), he took it to Best Buy and they got his going.  They've both had problems since though, and I think it's because I have a Mac.  Even though various websites and the staff at Best Buy had told be it was Mac compatible.

    Hope this helps.

SOURCE: I have freestanding Series 8 dishwasher. Lately during the filling cycle water hammer is occurring. How can this be resolved

A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!

How to fix a sandisk fat is corrupted please recover fat

You could try the following:

Start with the Clip turned OFF. Slide the power switch down to the HOLD position. Press and HOLD the center button depressed until it is recognized by the PC- give it a few seconds.

The Clip's display will state "connected" with the device now in MSC mode.

You can now repair the File Allocation Table (FAT) using Windows' chkdsk utility.

Open My Computer and find the Clip a listed under "devices with removable storage" as a flash drive. Let's say it displays as E: SANSA CLIP for example. Our assigned drive letter is E:

From the Run box under Start, enter cmd and press Enter. You will get a DOS window.

Enter chkdsk E: /f and press Enter. The /f toggle tells the utility to fix the errors.

After clicking on the Safely Remove icon in the taskbar, or right clicking on the Clip and selecting Eject, unplug the Clip.

Try powering it up again, and see if all is well.

Sansa clip jammed

Rebooting the device usually helps with this.
Any time it's 'stuck', you can do a soft reset (reboot) by holding the power/hold button up in the 'on' position while pressing the center-round button for a few seconds.
If it defaults to off, it should restart normally by using the power-on switch.
