Making a Single Copy
1
Place the original face down in the ADF.
2 Press Copy/Help twice.
To cancel, press Stop.
Do NOT pull on the paper while copying is in progress.
Copy Options: Single or Multiple Copies,
Reduce/Enlarge, Sort/Stack
You can choose additional copy options. First, you can select the number of copies. Next, you can
choose whether multiple copies will be STACKED (all copies of page 1, then all copies of page 2, etc.)
or SORTED (collated). Finally, you can choose an enlargement or reduction ratio. To automatically
reduce the copy to the paper size you have set for the paper tray, select AUTO. To reduce the copy by
a fixed percentage, choose 93%, 87%, 75% or 50%. Or, to enlarge the copy, select 150%, 125% or
120%. To copy a document at its original size, select 100%.
1 Place the original face down in the ADF.
2 Press Copy/Help.
3 Enter the number of copies you want (1-99).
For example: Press 9 for nine copies.
To start copying now, press Copy/Help.
If you would like to select additional copy options, like
SORT, ENLARGE or REDUCE, press Menu/Set.

My phone looks like the ones in the picture. All you need to do to turn the ringer back on is; 1) As you press the "up" or "down" arrow / button a few times read what is on the screen ie; the volume level of the ring that you prefer, (high or low) 2) When satisfied with selection press the "OFF" button. great job!! Have a nice day!

erforming a Fault Reset 14 will reset your WorkCentre and will help to clear error codes.
  1. Find the pink Clear button on the Control Panel of the WorkCentre.
  2. Find the button below the word Auto.
  3. Press these buttons in the following sequence: [Clear], [Auto], [Clear], [Auto] NOTE: All of the lights on the Control Panel should go out and the LED Display should go blank. 5. Press the green [Start] button.
  6. Press the pink [Clear] button two times.
  7. The WorkCentre should now warm up and come to ready.
  8. If the above steps do not clear the error code, repeat steps 3 to 6 a second time.

It senses paper loaded into the ADF but doesn't feed

There should be a button with settings on it.....ie: 2 sided, collate, etc. There should be an option to change paper settings.......or just clear the whole menu, and go to default to reset the rollers.

Can't send fax on Canon pixma mx310

There are two buttons on the MX310... one for colour and one for black & white.. Depending on which mode you're using (ie: copy, fax, etc..) these buttons will copy, fax, etc...in either colour or black & white accordingly.

These buttons are located on the far right of the control panel with colour closest to the user, black & white above that and then the stop button above and right.

To fax in black & white (or mono as it's otherwise called) just choose the Fax mod, then press the Black button and you're away...

Hope that helps.

Let me know how it goes otherwise if its still under warranty then they should take it back and get it fixed
