Re: Power supply on HP MediaCenter m7664x
Start with checking if the power supply fan is working. If not, you replace your power supply, and switch your PC on, and find out. Then, send in your e-mail so we can further assist you. There's a good chance that you will be able to reboot your PC. If ever, you will be able to reboot it, run your antivirus software. Then, open tune up utilities 2009 to get rid of unnecessary file and optimize your PC. In case you don't have it, you can download it from the internet.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.

Before attempting to replace the power supply, I would check to see if they are compatible. I would check to see that the wattage of the Compaq Presario SR1738NX is the same or larger than what is in your current computer. This information should be on the label of each power supply.
Next, I would check the connectors to ensure that all the connectors that are currently connected exist on the old power supply.
Next, take pictures of all the power supply connections on your new machine.
Finally, remove the power supply from your new computer, replace it with the power supply of your old computer, reconnect all of the connectors, and turn on the machine.
This error indicates that the receiving machine (receiver) cannot receive the fax you just sent. The reasons might be unexpected shutdown of the machine (Receiver's machine) just before it completely received [or partially printed] the file you had sent or power failure during the process.
Another reason is, when we send color fax from Hp machine to another Machine (non-hp), this happens due to incompatibility issue.
1. Restart both the machine after deleting the recently sent/received fax.
2. Send black and white only, not color.
3. Try again after the phone line seems not much busy which means when there's better transmission capability.
Good Day Sir, I have a solution to your problem, hope this will help you.
"HP 4315 officejet fax failed" solution:
Turn off the machine by using the ON button and then unplug the power cord from the back of the machine. After a few seconds, plug the power cord back in and turn the power on.
Try to send or receive a test fax.
If you are running the test from the Fax Setup Wizard (windows) or Fax Setup Utility(Mac), Make sure the Machine is not busy completing another task, such as receiving a fax or making a copy. Check the display for a message indicating that the machine is busy.If it is busy, wait until it is finished and in the idle state.
Make sure you use the phone cord that came with the machine. If you do not use the supplied phone cord to connect from the telephone wall jack to the HP All-in-One, YOU MIGHT NOT BE ABLE TO SEND OR RECEIVE faxes. then after you plug run the test again.
If you are using a PHONE SPLITTER, this can cause faxing problems. connect the machine directly to the telephone wall jack.
run the test again to make sure it passes and the machine is ready for faxing.
Turn off the machine using the power button, unplug the power cord from the back of the machine, remove the ink cartridges, wait 2 min, plug the power cord back in, press the power button to turn on the machine, wait until the printer prompts that the ink cartridges are missing, then replace the ink cartridges. If this doesn't fix the problem you may have to re-prime ink through the system. There are instructions for doing this at http://www.ccl-la.com/blog/index.php/hp-photosmart-ink-system-failure-1/.
finally you can try a reset on the macj\hine using the # and the number 6 buttons(holding them down and then plugging in the power cord at the back of the machine). If it still gives the same error..try the same with the # and 9...same problem comes up....service the printer
I am assuming that the power does not go on or it immediately turns off as it is turned on.
Try the docking station or the 3.3 AC adapter to the camera. Plug that in to live power. If you hear the lens motor (by default the lens is retracted to closed position when plugged to AC power), then the camera is operational. If not, there is power failure with the camera.
If the lens motor work, then try to turn the camera while plugged to AC power. If it turns on, then there is something wrong with the battery or with the chamber. If the camera does not turn on, then check the button board for a bad power switch.
Check the LCD closely under a bright light when you do this test. You may see a faint a flash of display that disappears. I have not figured out what causes this. This would mean that camera power supply is working but nothing is telling for the camera to stay on.
