Question about Computers & Internet
I am building my own PC. I have it all put together and tried starting it up but it won't recognize that there is a CD in the DVD player. I am using a Gigabyte P55M-UD4 motherboard and the DVD players are ''LG GH22NP20 Super Multi - Disk drive - DVD?RW (?R DL) / DVD-RAM - 22x/22x/12x - IDE - internal - 5.25''. I think I have them connected propperly but obviously I don't. I used the ribbon cable that came with the motherboard to connect them. I would greatly appreciate any help I can get.
Make sure that your DVD drive detected and on the list in Device Manager as LG GH22NP20. If it already on the list, but still have the same problem, ask to the store where you bought that device for changing with the other one.
