I just bought a new Grohe Movario handheld. The flow is so low I will return it unless I can solve that problem. There is a plastic white filter and underneath is a plastic green fitting which I assume is the restrictor. Am I correct and, if so, do I remove it even I have to break it to get it out?

Yes this is the water saver feature. If you screw a drywall screw into it alittle you should be able to pull out with pliers.

Everything you installed new. Please chack if not one of the gaskets came in a pipe or a line. I once had a rubber ring almost complete blocking the water flow.

Shower head is making high pitched whistling nois

The holes are probably clogged from hard water. Take the whole head assembly and dip it in a bucket of CLR for an hour or so. Then rinse off and give that a try. If your cheap, you can use a bucket of white vinegar and a little bit o water, but the smell is most disagreeable.

Low water pressure in grohe hand held. Is there a

1 Check if the holes in the hand held shower are not clogged with scum which generally happens over prolonged use. Clean them with a pin. 2 If this does not help, then check the the pipe connecting the shower to the water outlet. It should be clean and not clogged with foreign material which restricts the flow of water. 3 It still it does not help then you may have to fix a booster pump or raise the level of the water reservoir.

Have Grohe remote control shower. Could u tell me what size/type of battery is needed (if any)for the 2 units, 1 outside shwr and the shwr itself. Tks John

John; Most remotes use litium button batteries. Try to remove the old one and get the info off of it. Or see what the battery compartment looks like. Good Luck.
Button batteries are readily available at most radio shacks or drug stores.
