What is left to check. Shuts down with error code 13 after 2-3 min.

Whats the error code? You should first look that up on their site, and ask further questions here.

Recently installed a Noritz NRCP 112 water heater, but very frequently it keeps shutting off and on the display it says error 60, after looking at the manual there is no explanation of what error 60 is....

Shut downs with new heater might be defective PC board.
Other issues could be associated with improper installation.
Low gas pressure caused by undersized gas meter or water in the gas line, undersized gas line to unit (requires 1" gas line to within 10 feet and then 3/4"), wrong type of gas line (cannot use flexible gas line), improper vent (for example too long horizontal run or undersized vent pipe or shared vent with furnace or other gas appliance), not enough incoming fresh air supply, nearby exhaust fans or vent fans stopping proper draft on tankless, temperature set too high for cold incoming water supply (install tempering tank to help preheat water),..
http://waterheatertimer.org/Tempering-tank.html

Other causes can be clogged water filter located where cold water enters tankless, or clogged water line, or crossover caused by bad single-handled faucet or bad crossover valve on recirculation system, improperly sized recirculation system. These problems can mean less water flow through tankless, so burner shuts down, and unit throws error code because sensor indicates water flow is still moving but inadequate to trigger burner

Working on a N1321-ASME unit installed in a Taco Bell. Getting error code 21. Unit gas pressure is at 8.5wc and manifold pressure spikes to 2 when it come on but unable to see what it remains at because...

I recently had a similar problem with my N-132M-ASME heater. The unit would come on, then shut down and flash Error Code 21. According to the owners manual, that code indicates the unit is not getting enough air. I tried vacuuming the unit, blowing it our with air and checking to be sure the exhaust lines were clear. Nothing helped. A service technician came out and recommended I descale the unit and clean the burner. I did this but the problem did not go away. He also suggested I replace the Burner Sensor. It's not an expensive part, around $20. I ordered the part and have not had a problem since I installed it. Hope this helps.

My ecosense 180dvn sends out an error code of 13 after 2min 30 seconds. It is always after 2:30 min. I can shut it off after 2 min and back on and it continues to run. But the water has to be shut off...

I have the exact same problem with error code 13 on my Rheem/Ecosense 180dvn . The unit ran good for at least a year, and then I started getting the same error 13 every few minutes. I called the Rheem service department, and they told me to check the vent installation as well as the gas pressure. I reinstalled the vent with new seals. I only have about 6 ft of vent, so there should be very little resistance. I checked the gas pressure, and it shows 9 in H20 pressure, which is well in the range recommended. The service center scoffed at the suggestion that it could be their circuit board. I am totally at a losss and at the verge of ripping this very expensive installation out of my attic.

My Bosch AquaStar 240 NG tankless began throwing an error A2 and cuts off. I followed the trouble shooting guide, cleared the filter (which was pretty clogged), checked the fuse with a multmeter, fuse...

Hi,

  1. Check for flue gas leakage around the top and bottom seals of heat exchanger as well as the viewing window. Look for any noticeable burn marks or warping of the gaskets. If a leak is detected, seals will need replacing.
  2. Verify that venting meets specifications outlined in chapter 3.6 of the installation manual. Long vent lengths, incorrect venting material, venting with more than three elbows, blocked vent or combination venting may cause this failure. Verify backdraft flapper inside flue gas collector is not stuck shut.
  3. Check flue gas limiter wire connectors for tightness. Clean with pencil eraser if any corrosion is evident.
  4. Trace wires from flue gas limiter to black connector. Verify the connection is tight.
  5. If limiter is tripped due to overheating, it must cool down before error will clear on the control board.
If your connections are good and the CO2 level has not been an issue in the past you can start getting into replacing parts. Bosch technical help water line may help a little but they will want all of the make, model, serial number business as well as owner name before helping, at all. If your unit can be repaired a good technician is the answer.

Let me know,if needed further assistance.

Hope i helped you.

Thanks for using ' Fixya ' and have a nice day!!
