Reinstall the sound driver from the internet. Download a free Realtek 97 audio driver, and reinstall in your Thinkpad PIII

Check your speakers using a multi-tester. Set at x1 ohm. There are two sections of the speaker input jack. Put one black tester probe at one section of the jack, while the other red tester probe at the other section of the jack. It it is good, it will read zero. Repeat this proce-
dure at the other speaker. If the.outcome is OK, Then, install the
paretologic anti-virus software, and run it in your PC. Try this if this
work. Then e-mail to us results.

IBM Thinkpad 18594AU exp R52 intel pentium M740:

Most PC Laptops have a function key that you use in conjunction with other keys (normally the function keys) to access special features. You can try using this key along with the monitor key (normally has a symbol of a monitor on the key) to see if you can activate the external monitor feature. If you can not locate the keys and it is Windows XP or newer, the display properties (accessed from the control panel) should have a setup for dual monitors and you may be able to enable it in there.

Intel Pentium II Processor Upgrade

No, this highest the P-II went to was either 400 or 450 Mhz. Upgrading a thinkpad CPU may be difficult. Considering prices on used laptops now, I wouldn't think it would be worthwhile, either.

they should be the same the close number just means that they revised something... most laptops have builtin wi fi but if it doesnt just buy a cheapie usb or pc slot card! I would NOT reccomend that you install windows vista on your pc.....there are still yet too many problems with them and you will have A VERY hard time getting drivers that are compatible

as far as the rest of the specs... ask the seller! they should know or see if it says on the ebay auction page
