Our drum will not release the green light will not turn on and the drum is stuck, does anyone have an easy fix?

Is the drum stuck in the machine? If so on some Sharp copiers the right side door needs to be opened before you can remove the drum. Also most of the time the toner and developer units need to be removed before the drum can be removed. If the machine wont reach ready then it should display an error message or a red indicator light should be light. We need to know this before we can assist any further.

This sounds like a digital duplicator. if it is, you may have to turn the drum back to home position. Then the green light will come on so you can remove the drum and investigate why it didn't home out. Check for bent parts, loose sensors etc.
