I can't find an electrical outlet that the plug will fit into

Probably because it requires a different electrical current. Is your machine made to run on 220 volts? If so, it will not work on regular 110 volts (standard household current). You'll need to have a special line and outlet to power 220. The outlets are different because you really don't want to be plugging a 110v appliance into a 220v outlet, or vice versa.

Power out for 48 hours, tankless water heater located outside of house, temperature around 20 degrees, no hot water coming out of tap, where do i begin?

First, I don't even want to know why someone would put a tankless outside as you have found out...really bad idea. In order to help you, more information is needed. Is this a gas or electric unit? Or a gas unit with electric controls? Is it mechanically or electronically controlled ( a make and model would help). Are the water lines to or from the tank exposed? When you say no hot water coming from the tap does that mean when you turn on the hot water faucet you just get cold water or no water?

Plug going into outlet gets really hot

The only reason a plug gets really hot is because of an "Overload" or a "Short, or partial short" in the circuit. OR The plug body itself, is "Breaking Down" whereby, moisture, verdigris, and thermal shock, cause the "Fitting" itself. to become slightly conductive, this in turn causes electricity to "Leak" though the material, between the conductors anchor points, & because of the resistance or the material, it causes heat.

Mower sputtering and getting hot

To help stop the sputtering you will need to tune up your mower. As for it getting hot check the air filter, and the top air draw area to ensure that they are clean. During your tune up be sure to replace the oil, spark plug, and fuel filter. If your air filter is dirty replace it too.

Instant hot water dispenser does not heat water.

I had the exact same problem. I even replaced the first unit with a second unit...because I was sure I hooked everything up correctly. Then I called their support line and and felt very stupid. They asked one question "are you plugging in the Quick&Hot into the same electrical outlet as the garbage disposal"?. I said yes..and the garbage disposal works fine (thinking that this indicates a good electrical outlet). She then said "That outlet works off of a switch so no electricity is getting to the Quick&Hot until the disposal is turned on). Gosh darn it...that made total sense. I then tested this out by plugging an extension cord into a different outlet and it worked fine. I feel stupid. Hope this helps.

Moved Washer and Now no Electrical

Suggestion: You dont need any special outlet. With a tester (you can get this in any electric shop) see if there is power in the outlet. You said it was hot?? It is not supposed to be hot. Try another outlet; & you could unscrew your machine plug to see if all the three wires are okay, ie. well connected, screwed in.
