I would like to program an older Samsung tv to my JVC LP21036-038 Remote I need the codes?

Unfortunately, the JVC LP21036-038 remote can only control JVC devices. It doesn't have any adjustable codes. You can choose between 3 codes (A, B, and C) so that using 3 JVC video devices doesn't result in conflicts. This remote came with the JVC HR-XVC14BU among other devices. The manual for the VCR/DVD player is available from JVC support. The direct link to the manual is . See page 17 of the manual for the details.

I'd recommend you get a cheap universal remote to control the Samsung TV and the JVC vcr/dvd player.

I wish that I had better news for you.

Daytek DVK2001S will not read "PAL" DVD.

Yep, your dvd player may be capabile of producing a PAL video signal, but that does not mean it will play DVDs from a different region. If you require that functionality, do some research on the internet to find a player that will play any regon before making a purchase decision.

Volume is too low.

good day, not so familiar with this model but try this.

1) try to check in your DVD remote controller if it does have a + and - buttons indicating volume , if does have this features press + button to increase the sound output

2) if remote commander doesn't have this features try accessing the " SETUP" menu. most probably there would be a button in your dvd remote indicating this button "SETUP"

3)once you've access the setup menu, there would be a dialogue box indicating ( Video setup, Audio Setup, display setup, parental lock) insome cases it will show you a display picture of all this menu

navigate the dialogue box and look for "audio setup" once you've access this part there would be options and controls where you can change the volume/audio settings .

Can't play dvd player on JVC tv; I don't have a JVC remote.

I hooked up a Pioneer DVD player to my TV and when I play a DVD the volume cannot be controlled by the TV. It just plays at one level and on the louder side. When I'm watching regular TV and the DVD player is on and playing a disc I start to hear the DVD soundtrack at the same time as the whatever I'm watching on TV. I should not be able to hear anything until I switch over to Video 1. Any suggestions?

Tv picture is black, sound is fine

Sorry, no easy answer here. On an older set this would be espected and not worth repairing, but you should take this to a TV shop for troubleshooting. Most likely culprit is the flyback transformer and/or the horizontal deflection.
Hope Ya Fix It.

JVC DVD player problem

You have set the DVD to progressive output for your big tv. The little one will not accept this. Your manual will tell you how to reset it. The remote may be needed. Reconnect it to the big tv and check the menus.
