Question about Tricity Bendix AW1000W Front Load Washer
I have a tricity bendix washing maching aw1001, its just over a year old. during the wash cycle small sparks seem to light up from underneath, a burning smell seems to come from it then when its about to spin it trips my electricity. what could be the problem
There is almost certain to be a small leak which could be from a variety of things. The water sounds like it has found its way onto your motor windings. Once it starts burning, carbon is left behind on motor. The decision to replace motor and possibly hole in drum is the question.Need to weigh up if a new purchase is possibly the right way to go. Remove covers to see if the source of the leak is visible.

this sounds like a syphoning problem this means the outlet /drain pipe at the back of the machine has been pushed to far into the drain upstand pipe causing the water to syphon straight through the machine make sure that the drain pipe is only part way down the drain pipe, hope this works for you
