Good day, Cyko!
Here is what microsoft has to say about that:
http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/setup/hwandprograms/monitors.mspx
In reading through this, you'll note that they suggest that some docking devices, or a usb adapter for monitors may allow you to run multiple monitors.

SOURCE: I try to boot up

If you did press on Fn+F5 when you connected an external monitor on your portable system, the problem lies on the video card of your computer. You may need to have it replaced. If you do not see nothing at all on your LCD display or the external monitor, definitely your video card is busted. But if you at least see something before you get the blank screen, there might still be a bit of hope. Try the following troubleshooting step in case.
1. Boot to the Advanced boot option by tapping on F8 as you turn your computer on. 2. Go to the device manager. (windows key + r, then type devmgmt.msc, then press ok) 3. Click on the plus sign on the display adapter. 4. Right click on the device listed under the display adapter then choose uninstall. 5. Restart the computer to normal mode. 6. Download and install the appropriate video driver that is available on the link.
ATI Video driver
Intel Video driver
Nvidia Video driver
Note: Make sure that you remember the correct driver for your computer as Acer posts three possible video cards for the computer model that you have.

My powermore engine won" turnover. Starter sounds scratchy

First make sure you battery is up to full charge then you may have to pull the starter and take it to a repair shop and get it checked out. Sounds like you need a replacement. Also check battery cable both end and make sure they are clean and tight before doing anything.

T61 won't go past the Microsoft loading screen

Press F8 during boot, and load Safe Mode. A program may be preventing a proper startup.

Try disabling startup programs. Go to Start > Run (search in Win 7) and type MSConfig > Startup tab and uncheck anything that you don't want Windows to load automatically. It will make Windows boot faster and use less resources while running.

This just disables them in startup. Programs will still load, but when you initiate.

Won't start been having trouble starting it a griding noise now won't start at all

Sounds like the starter on your car went out, when it makes a grinding noise ,

it's because the bendix or gear that engages the flywheel is worn , and is not

catching or meshing against the flywheel to turn it. if you are mechanicaly

inclined pull the starter off, take it to an auto parts store, most autoparts stores

have equipment to test the device at no charge, they can put a load on it and

tell you if its bad. just make sure to disconnect one side of the battery when

working on anything electrical. good luck!

Toshiba pops up and then windows xp pops up and then screen turn blue computer goes off

This sounds like a conflict with something that's loading into memory when you switch on and load the Operating System.

Boot into safe mode. (F8 every half second while booting) Allow to load mode.

Go to start.

Type in search MSconfig

Go to 'Start up' tab.

Deselect anything you know you don't need from the list.

Hopefully, you'll hit the right one and the problem program won't load.

The sound is very low about 30% of what i would expect it to be, Can i do anything to increase it, thanks.

Notebooks are notorious for having very poor sound quality. In order to keep notebooks small and light, very small speakers are used, which results in very quiet output, with very poor sound quality.

Before giving up, check all of your sound settings. Go to Sound from the Control Panel and make sure that everything is set where it should be. Also make sure that the master volume is turned up, as well as the volume control in whatever program is providing your audio.

Outside of that, check out some nice headphones or external speakers, whichever works better for your situation.

Hope this helps. Please take a moment to rate this solution. Thanks.

Sound & USB

Usb ports can be difficult at times, as they get stuck in a cycle from last peripheral connected. The best thing to do is go to right click on My computer>properties>hardware tab>device manager and in the harware list will be your usb controllers. right click on them individually and select uninstal, then restart your notebook and they will re install themselves, that should clear that. Next the sound, if you are unable to change anything, then the driver is more than likely corrupt. Again follow above proceedure and look down list for sound, video & game controllers, click tht'+' to Realtek drivers if thats your sound chip and right click and uninstall. Restart your notebook again and again the sound driver should re install itself. If you still have a driver problem go to acer site as the drivers may need updating. http://support.acer-euro.com/drivers/notebook/tm_2350.html
