Question about Honeywell Electronic Programmable Heat/Cool Thermostat - CT3300A100 Heater

1 Answer

My apartment complex regulates the heat in the apt. It cannot go over 72 degrees. That is way to cold for me in the winter. Is there a way for me to adjust the thermostat so that I can set it any number I want.

I have a Braeburn 3200 and when the the temperature reaches the desired heat setting. The furnaces heat will shut off, but the fan will continue to run indefinetly. eventually blowing very cold air up

The fan relay is stuck in the on position. When the temperature drops the heater does not ignite because the fan is already running and ignition is locked out after the heat cycle starts an the fan turns on

How to diagnose ALL vehicle NO heat problems

It is winter and you jump in your car start it up and turn the heater blower fan on.
You sit and wait...and wait.... NO HEAT !
Here are a few easy steps to help diagnose the problem:

1) After vehicle is completely warmed up, open your vehicles hood.

2) Grab a pair of gloves. Put them on, now put your hand with your glove on, on the TOP radiator hose. ( The top black radiator hose is the largest hose on the top of the radiator inlet running to the thermostat housing, in most vehicles)

3) Be careful NOT to touch ANY part of the engines cooling fan(s). Is the radiator hose HOT or COLD to the touch ?

If the hose is cold the easiest repair is to replace the thermostat. The thermostat helps regulate the engine temperature keeping it approximately 195 degrees Fahrenheit, and helps supply hot coolant to run through your vehicles heater core to keep you warm in the winter.

Sounds like the heater is on as well. Even if ac is not working it shouldn't get hotter than outside air temp. Possible stuck relay.

Here is what you need to do to make sure your system is charged correctly go to the furnace take the temperature of to supply temp and take the return temperature at the furnace. You should have 18-20 degrees temperature difference if your return temp. is 77 degrees you should have 57 to 59 degrees. If you dont have these temps your system either wasnt cleaned properly or not charged correctly. If this helps please rate me and do a testimonial.

I have an older NY apt. with radiator heat for winter. In summer, there is no A/C, but cold water runs thru pipes and blower fan "cools" the apt. (No idea what this system is called). It gets...

if anything a dehumidifier. But before that, sounds like the building has 1 heating system , and no zone control, for the building. What you really need to do in this case is to shut the water line off before it hits the radiator. If not then close the valve on the radiator, it should look like a basic outdoors spicket knob. But if all else fails, get a dehumidifier.

what it sounds like happening is the unit is realizing it is falling behind most thermostat s have a 3 degree deadband if they fall 3 degrees or more at a time after running for so long then it will bring on the emergency heat which is located in your inside unit... when it gets really colds and you see this you need to go outside and look is the outside unit still running and is it freezing up on you...also if running check the larger of two pipes make sure the large pipe is hot to touch...based on the description you have given the thermostat is calling for emergency heat but for some reason is not bringing it on or there is a problem with the emergency heat.... hope this helps out some

To getproper heat, keep your temp setting at 30+ degree and also mode in "heat"position. If still no heat, check your heating sensor for closed circuit by anOHMs metre. It it's with RV, check power to RVHelpful?

Electric baseboard heater

this is a tough call but with 2000 watts in each room there should be more than enough heat .the rooms should maintain a average temp of 73 to 78 degrees temp without weatherazation and that is of course there is no drafts coming from any windows or near a front or back door that opens and closes alot . Basiclly you have it covered but definatley get the house winterize/insulated real good.I would keep 1 or 2 space heaters on hand just incase the person in house feels there cold just to cover yourself ,usually it the female complaining its cold if its not warm enough but there have been some males that need that temp to be 80 degrees all the time.good luck but im sure it will be ok!!

Char Broil commercial grill won't heat pass 300 degrees

I had a similar problem and thought the propane kept running out....come to find out it was a defective regulator. $21 at the local ACE store as running to LOWES and trying to get a point across to a 17 yr old summer help college kid for a intermittent problem seemed more challenging then it was worth. Would barely light the burners and would not get over 200 degrees. Ripped it apart...blew through all the orfices including the regulator put it all back together and would work for a while then fail again. Good luck!
