To be able to set up wireless printer configuration, there are three basic items that you need to have. They are a high-speed broadband Internet connection (with modem), a high speed wireless router and wireless network adaptors. These three items will be used in setting up the wireless printer. Assuming that there is already an existing network in the home or office space, then all that is needed to do to make the printer available in the network through the operating system’s networking wizard. If not, then the network must first be established, only then the printer will be made available through that network. get more information from here....... http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-and/HP-Photosmart-C4780-Wireless-Printing/m-p/320321#M19172

HP Photosmart C4780 and Acer Aspire fight over web-based printing!

Try hard-wiring your laptop to the router with an ethernet cable as a test and then try printing, if you do not loose connection to the internet then the problem is probably that the printing is hogging your wireless bandwidth.
If the same thing happens with loosing connection to the internet try connecting to the internet real quick through another computer that is hardwired, you want to find out if the problem is a wireless one or that affects wired computers also. You might need a driver upgrade, you also might need to upgrade the firmware of the router

My HP Photosmart C4780 makes the loud clicking sound. This just started and it still prints ok. Less than a year old.

There could be something stuck inside. Look inside and inspect to make sure there's no paper or anything else clogging in

Cannot connect my laptop to wireless

Your wireless printer might frequently lose its communication with the computer and hence might not print all the documents when you want. Such an issue arises when there is interference in the wireless signals between the printer and the computer. This could be caused by any other wireless device kept in the vicinity of your printer like a cordless phone. Keep all other wireless devices way from the printer set-up to tackle this issue. Also bear in mind that if your system is turned on for hibernation mode then it would disconnect your printer the moment it goes into hibernation. get more help http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Printer-All-in-One-Install-and/HP-Photosmart-C4780-Wireless-Printing/m-p/320321#M19172
