Your best bet is to replace it. here is what you do:

Look in your owner's manual or study the current seal to see how it is attached. If it is attached with bands, there will be one or more spaced around the seal. Remove them following manufacturer's instructions.

  • Step 2 Pull the seal from the door rim. For seals that are attached with sealant, you may need to slide a finger under the end and push it up while you pull it free with the other hand.
  • Step 3 Wash the area thoroughly with a degreasing cleanser. This will remove all traces of dirt, grime and old sealant around the area.
  • Step 4 Slide the open end of the new seal onto the door framehole in front seal round inside of door. need part - 2.gif. Make sure the fit is snug and it is completely slid into place.
  • Step 5 Glue around the join with the sealant or reattach the bands. Allow sealant to dry for at least two hours before running the machine.

The rubber seal came off of the inside during the spin cycle - behind door against the tub -- and a wire ring came out. I put the rubber seal back on but have no idea where the wire ring would go? Is this...

The wire ring is the seal retaining spring, it fits in a groove at the rear of the door seal.
Double the seal back in the drum, and fit the spring around the seal at the rear of same, it fits inside a groove, it is difficult, so persist and be patient.

Bosch Classixx - Rubber Door Seal - I heard the easiest way to get the inner ring back on is to remove the whole front panel - How do I do this?

Not recommended, tilt washer backwards, and work spring on with your fingers, slowly going round the inner lip of the seal, it helps if you can get someone to help by holding the spring in place as you work your round the seal.

A HOLE IN THE RUBBER SEAL

You can certainly diy. Unplug the washer. With the door open, look at the bottom of the seal. You'll see a ring clamp. Loosen the screw and remove the clamp. Peel the seal inward. It is easier to complete the seal swap with the front off. Remove the door and set aside. Locate the screws for the front of the machine and remove them, gaining access to the seal. Youcan either set the door to the side with the door lock wires still attached, or unclip them, which is easier. With the seal folded inward, you will likely find another clamp at the bottom. Loosen this as well. Remove the seal and replace with the new one, making sure to orient it like the old one was, and fold it to the inside like you had the old one for removal. Replace the front panel. Complete the seal installation, being careful to make sure that the clamp removed earlier gets put back in the groove and seats well. Reinstall the door. Leaks water when washing from the door

It's because of a hole in the door seal body. The water runs down inside the machine and comes under the front of the washing machine

For this first unplugged and then take the top off the washer and there is usually a nut and bolt to undo which is holding a clamp band round the door seal fixing it to the tub.
many cases where the water runs down from the bottom of the door but has in fact come from the soap dispenser but the leak was coming from the door.A thin line of water trickles from the soap dispenser and runs round the door frame to appear as a door seal leak. Make sure this isn't the case.
    Thanks.

How do you replace the door seal on a Bosch Nexxt front load washer?

Tilt the m/c back and remove the clamp securing the seal to the front of the cabinet, double the seal back inside the washer door opening, and then pull the retaining spring off the inside of the door seal which is fitted in a groove at the back of the seal.
Refit the new seal starting at the topmake sure the seal is fittef the right way up, drainage holes to the bottom.
Work the seal on all the way round the drum, and then roll the spring into the groove at the back of the seal and work it round all the way round the seal, you will find it easier if you have someone to help hold the spring in place..
Refit the seal round the front of the cabinet, and refit clamp at front.

    Thanks.

    Replace door gasket

It sounds like you have left the spring on the inside lip of the door opening when you removed the old seal,
You will have to take the seal off again and feel for the spring on the lip of the front of the drum, you will find it easier if you have something to hook it out with,it is fiddley, but you must get the spring out, or the seal will not stay on
Refit seal as before, and double it back inside the drum, then fit the spring in the groove that you can feel on the lip of the door seal. Work the spring all the way rond feeding it into the groove as you go round, you will find it a lot easier if you have someone there to hold the spring as you are are fittingit, it is very fiddley, stick with it!!!.
    Plz rate this solution .
    Thanks.

    Leak in the front door

If the water is running down the outside at the front of the m/c, then you probably need new door seal.
If however it is coming down the front from the top, then it is coming from your dispenser, check for blockage
